Southern Screen presents E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial drive-In movie screening at Moncus Park at the Horse Farm! Join us for a fun night with this 1982 Steven Spielberg classic! After a gentle alien becomes stranded on Earth, the being is discovered and befriended by a young boy named Elliott (Henry Thomas). Bringing the extraterrestrial into his suburban California house, Elliott introduces E.T., as the alien is dubbed, to his brother and his little sister, Gertie (Drew Barrymore), and the children decide to keep its existence a secret. Soon, however, E.T. falls ill, resulting in government intervention and a dire situation for both Elliott and the alien.

The event starts at 6:00PM with yard games, cold drinks and food trucks. Get there early for a good parking spot. The screening of the movie will begin at 8:00PM. This will be an authentic drive-in movie experience, complete with jumbo screen and tune-in car radio audio. There will also be outdoor speakers for those of you who would rather walk-in and sit at the front of the screen on the lawn.
